This clever reverse polarity system eliminates the need for traditional infra-red sensors. The taps activate automatically when you move your hands close to the tap.

Here are the benefits:

Damage-Proof
There is no sensor mechanism in the tap, which eliminates damage that occurs to infra-red sensors by vandals and cleaners. The tap is simply acting as an ‘aerial’. This greatly improves reliability and longevity.

Light-Proof
Infra-red sensors are affected by the ambient light conditions. This can cause them to false-activate, or not work at all. As the Palazzani No-Sensor taps have no infra-red sensors, these problems are also eliminated. Once again, reliability is greatly enhanced.

Easier to use
As there is no infra-red sensor, there is no need to try and line your hands up with an infra-red beam. They simply activate when your hands are near, which is much easier and simpler.

Cleaner Designs
With no mechanism in the tap, the designers have much greater freedom in styling the tap. This results in simple, clean, classic lines. This is also an aid to cleanliness.

Simple installation
