NZ ELKAY WARRANTY 2023
Merquip fully stands behind your Elkay drinking water appliance, and provides a full 5-year warranty on the compressor and hermetically sealed refrigeration systems, and 24-month parts and labour warranty on all other components, except when the failure is due to accident, misuse, neglect or damage, water conditions, environmental conditions, failure to comply with instructions in the Installation Guide and User Guide booklets, use of non-approved parts and filters, or faulty installation by a person not accredited by Merquip.
The owner may be responsible for costs of removal, freight, and reinstallation if the appliance has to be returned to Merquip or an Accredited Service Agent, and for travelling charges for tradespersons or Accredited Service Agents.
This Warranty excludes damage resulting from any non-operation of the appliance or any consequential damages to any other property or chattels.
Any liability of Merquip will be limited to replacement or repair of the appliance or payment of the cost of such replacement or repair at the absolute discretion of Merquip.
This Warranty covers units installed within New Zealand, is applicable to the original registered purchaser only, and overrides any previously implied conditions. Nothing in this Warranty sets aside any of Merquip’s obligations under the Sale of Goods Act.
